The permissions that users have regarding the creation and alteration of purchase requests is controlled on a per-request type and per-user basis in FocalPoint.
Log into FocalPoint Administrator
Click System Options, Sales & Billing, Sales Invoices Setup
Select the relevant request type.
Click Usage
Find the user in the list and set their permissions as required:
Active: User can see Sales Invoice type entries (this needs to be applied for approval and entry also)
New: User can create new transactions under the request type
Duplicate: User can duplicate already entered transactions to create new ones
Re-open: User can re-open a Sales Invoice entry as long as it meets the conditions needed
Click OK to save the changes
Repeat steps 3-5 for any other request types the user may need to create, approve, or edit.
