User cannot see the Purchasing tab?

One thing to check would be that the Ribbon Option for Purchasing is enabled in FocalPoint. To check this, the steps below can be taken:

  1. Log in to FocalPoint Web

  2. Hover over your name at the top right and go to Customise Ribbon

  3. On the right is a list of available Ribbon Options

  4. Tick Purchasing on the right then click Add

  5. Click Save and then refresh FocalPoint

If a user is set up to use Purchasing in FocalPoint, and has the ribbon option enabled, but the tab still does not show up, this could be due to the browser cache.

Please try clearing the browser cache by following the steps below:


Google Chrome

  1. Click the three dots (top right).

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click Security and Privacy.

  4. Click Clear browsing data.

  5. In Time Range, select All time from the dropdown.

  6. Tick the box for Cached images and files, for login issues tick Cookies and other site data.

  7. Click Clear Data.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three dots (top right).

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Find the Clear Browsing Data header.

  4. Click Choose what to clear.

  5. Tick the boxes for Cookies and saved website data and Cached images and files.

  6. Click Clear.
