Timesheets disappearing from some users accounts.

This can occur when a security profile has the Allow Third Party Entry setting enabled but does not have the Default to Own Resource Code enabled.

To resolve this:

  1. Log in to FocalPoint Administrator

  2. Click System Control

  3. Select Security Profiles

  4. Select the relevant security profile.

  5. Click Edit

  6. Enable the flag labelled Default to Own Resource Code

If this is not the cause, please ensure that the Timesheets have not been deleted and do actually exist. It is possible that while entering the Time, FocalPoint crashed or lost connection and the Timesheets were not saved.

If these steps don't resolve the issue Support will need to run some scripts on the database. Therefore please raise a new case and reference the title of this article and please include details of the timesheets affected.
