User not able to view Timesheets for other users

This will be connected to the users Security Profile please follow the steps below to check and correct

  1. Login to FocalPoint Admin

  2. Select System Control, Users

  3. From the list provided select the user and note their security profile

  4. Select System Control, Security Profiles

  5. Select the users existing profile and click on Edit button

  6. On General Tab under Global Options is Allow Third Party Entry ticked

    • Please note this option affects all users in the profile

      • Should everyone in the profile be able to see others timesheets?

      • Is the user in the correct profile for their role?

  7. If all users in the profile should be able to see other users timesheets tick the Allow Third Party Entry box

  8. Set the drop down box to Own Department, All Departments or Allocated Users as required

  9. Tick the Default to Own Resource Code box and click on the OK button

If the user is in the wrong profile please use the following steps to move them to the correct profile

  1. Select System Control, Security Profiles

  2. Select the users existing profile and click on Members button

  3. Select the user from the list on the left hand side, click on the Remove button

  4. Click Yes button on the 'Are you sure...' pop up window and click on OK button

  5. Select the profile that they should be in and click on Members button

  6. Select the user from the list on the right hand side, click on the Add button and click on OK button

  7. Edit the profile and check that the Allow Third Party Entry box is ticked
