Applying a new licence to FocalPoint Administrator

  • This process will only work where a new licence has been purchased for additional users or modules. It will not work where a user is installing FocalPoint Administrator on a new computer or where there is a licence error.

  • The process will also not work for anyone who is hosted with Access - those customers will need to contact Support who will be able to apply the new licence instead.

  1. Log into FocalPoint Administrator.

  2. Click Info.

  3. Select About FocalPoint Administrator.

  4. Click Upgrade Licence.

  5. Enter the new licence details, which will have been provided by Access.

  6. Click OK to save. The licence will now have been upgraded and you will see any user changes on the About FocalPoint Administrator screen and have access to any additional modules.

Once these steps have been followed on one computer, the licence will also need to be updated on all other computers with FocalPoint Administrator installed.
