This error likely indicates a problem in the Application Pools of the web server hosting FocalPoint. Ask your IT team to resolve this by recycling the Application Pool:

On the Web Server open IIS Manager

Expand the nodes in the **Connections** pane.

When you see **Application Pools**, click it to view all Application Pools.

Right-click the Application Pool in which the FocalPoint application is running under and select Recycle.
