There are four places to specify paths in FocalPoint for Crystal reports. Each serves a different purpose.
The Central Crystal Reports path
This path allows everyone who can log in to FocalPoint with access to reports to access the reports stored in this path. To access this field, follow these steps:
Log in to FocalPoint Administrator.
Click **System Options**.
Select **Global Options**.
Click the **System Paths** tab.
The Security Profile Crystal Reports path
This allows only users who are members of the relevant security profile to access the reports stored in this path. To access this field, follow these steps:
Log in to FocalPoint Administrator
Click on System Control
Select Security Profiles
Select the relevant Security Profile
Click Edit
Click on the General tab
The Member record Crystal Reports path
This allows only the user with this path set in their member record to access the reports stored in this path. To access this field, follow these steps:
Log in to FocalPoint Administrator.
Click **System Control**.
Select Security Profiles
Select the relevant Security Profile.
Click **Members**.
Select the relevant member record.
Click the **Details** tab.
The Member record Crystal Reports path will override the Security Profile Crystal Reports path if a user has one specified, and both the Member record and the Security Profile paths will override the Central path.
There is also a path specific for reports on Project records. These are available on a specific tab named "Reports" when you look at a Project record.
To access this field, follow these steps:
Log in to FocalPoint Administrator.
Click **System Options**.
Select **Project Management**, then **Job Costing**.
The path is on the **General** tab in the bottom right corner.
