Error - 'Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException:...' when updating a Credit Card Expense claim

This error can be caused by reserved characters in the description of the Expense lines.
reserved characters include:

\, /, *, ", <, >, and |

The resolution is to remove the characters from the description in the Expense detail lines.

If there is only plain text in the descriptions, then the Expense may also have corrupted. Please delete the claim and re-enter it.

If you have removed the characters and the error still occurs, please log a new case online and reference the title of this article.
