When entering a Purchase Request, Nominal Code or Nominal Category field displays 'Invalid Entry' next to it

First of all, please check that the Nominal code exists in Dimensions. If it does not, then this message is correct.

If the code definitely exists in Dimensions, please completely clear both fields out, which should remove the 'Invalid Entry' messages. Once both fields are blank and the errors have stopped showing, use the magnifying glass icon to look up the codes again. This may result in the codes working without error.

If the error reappears or the codes are not in the lookup, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article and please include any relevant references for the records affected.
