Expenses to be posted are showing in the inbox

The ability to post Expenses and Credit Card transactions is controlled by the Dimensions menu permission on the user's security profile.

With Show Menu enabled for the Dimensions menu, the user then has access to post these transactions through to Dimensions. In order to know which transactions need posting, the Expenses and Credit Card transactions waiting to be posted will then be displayed in the inbox.

To enable or disable the Dimensions Show Menu permission:

  1. Log in to FocalPoint Administrator

  2. Click on System Control, Security Profiles

  3. Select the relevant security Profile

  4. Click Edit

  5. Select the Security tab

  6. In the options pane, click on Dimensions

  7. The Show Menu security permission is displayed in the right-hand pane

  8. Double-click Show Menu to enable or disable as required

  9. Click OK to save changes
