Creating a new Cost Centre on a Project in FocalPoint

If you use FocalPoint and Dimensions, Cost Centres can be setup in either application. However, the FocalPoint Cost Centres can have more field values available so it is best to decide which point of entry is best for your company or organisation.

To set up a new Cost Centre in FocalPoint:

  1. Log into the FocalPoint website

  2. Click Job Costing, Project Management

  3. Edit the relevant Project record

  4. On the Cost Centres tab, click New.

  5. Type all the required details of the Cost Centre

  6. Click Save and Close.
