Create a Project Cost Centre

Follow these steps to create a new Cost Centre on a project.

  1. Log in to the FocalPoint website.

  2. Click Job Costing, Project Management.

  3. Search for and select the appropriate project.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. On the Cost Centres tab, click New.

  6. Enter details as required.

  7. Click Save.

📌 Note: The term 'Cost Centre' is also used in finance applications' Nominal Ledgers. This article only covers Cost Centre records in Project Costing/Management.
