Create a Project Cost Centre

Follow these steps to create a new Cost Centre on a project.

  1. Log in to the FocalPoint website.

  2. Click **Job Costing**, **Project Management**.

  3. Search for and select the appropriate project.

  4. Click **Edit**.

  5. On the Cost Centres tab, click New.

  6. Enter details as required.

  7. Click Save.

📌 **Note:** The term 'Cost Centre' is also used in finance applications' Nominal Ledgers. This article only covers Cost Centre records in Project Costing/Management.
