Conditioned hours for timesheets explained

Updated over 3 weeks ago

What are conditioned hours?

Conditioned hours relates to the entry of timesheets by FocalPoint users and the requirement to enter a minimum amount of hours per days when completing timesheets. For example, if the conditioned hours for a Monday is 37.5 then the user creating the timesheet would have to enter 37.5 hours against Monday before being able to submit.

Where are the settings controlled from?

This depends on the setting in the member profile for each user on the Time tab, but effectively, from two different areas.

  1. Login to FocalPoint administrator

  2. Click System control, Security Profile.

  3. Select the required security profile with the user in.

  4. Click Members.

  5. On the Time tab, if the Check Type is anything other than Use Global Check all the conditioned hours are configured in the Time tab.

  6. If the Check Type is Use Global Check then the control of this is held in Timesheet Entry.

  7. Click System Options, Time Recording, Timesheet Entry.

  8. In the Conditioned Hours section, click the Filters & Hours tab.
