Starting from September 2021, Microsoft is rejecting a number of emails sent using the TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols and you may therefore find that some or all of your emails fail because of this.
β
As such, you will need to ensure that TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 have been disabled on your webserver to ensure that emails are not sent via this method and instead go via TLS 1.2.
β
Please note that you will need to be using version 5.3 Service Pack 18 of FocalPoint and .NET version 4.8 in order to use TLS 1.2. If you are not currently set up for these, you will need to upgrade first of all. Please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article if you wish to book an upgrade.
β
If you are using version 5.3 Service Pack 18 of FocalPoint and .NET version 4.8, please speak to your internal IT team to discuss the disabling of TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 as Support are not able to help with changes to your server.
β
If you are hosted with Access, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article and we will then be able to organise the changes to be made for you.
