How to disable a user

The following steps can be followed to disable (or deactivate) a user in FocalPoint. This may be necessary if a user has left the company and the licence needs to be reused.

  1. Login to FocalPoint Administrator.

  2. Browse to System Control and click on Users.

  3. Click the Edit icon at the top of the window (this is the hand with a question mark image).

  4. Locate the user in the list below.

  5. Take the tick out of the "Enabled" box.

  6. Click OK to save.

The user is now disabled and will no longer be able to log in to FocalPoint.
